The Complus table in MSI just takes all configuration in one big undocumented 
BLOB. It is not useful for anything else than the MSI's created by exporting a 
COM+ application from the catalog as far as I know.

Yea, that's what thought. Well seeing as at least one person thinks the same as 
me I shall submit a bug and see what comes of that :-). At least in the mean 
time I have a work-around.
