And in my case, I'm doing the ripping using Perl instead of MSBuild. Works for me, at least.
(Of course, the package I'm writing is customized FOR packaging Perl and perl modules on 32-bit Windows, but a lot of the code should still be usable, and I may very well generalize it later!
