Hey Peter, I know this isn't an answer, but it might be a place to start for you. I think you could use the custom action that executes without showing a console window and then put this exe in your installation. I noticed the article said this was for W2K so I don't know if Ntrights.exe will work in newer OS versions but presume it will.
