No.  The .NET Installer classes are poorly designed and shouldn't be used.  I 
almost convinced VS to deprecate them... but they are still there.

Pretty simple question but I really don't know the answer so might as well post

A coworker of mine asked me if WiX uses the .net installer classes ? I imagine 
he meant if the wix xml elements map to a respective entity or operation in 
these installer classes?
