I am quite new into the msi business, and I can't figure this out: I have two versions of my project, and of course I want to remove the previous version when a new version is installed. But the new installer says "Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue." I also tried to change the Product ID; in that case the new installer did install, but did not remove the previous version, so my Control Panel showed two instances of the program, and to remove it I needed to uninstall twice. What am I missing? There must be some easy way to do the obvious - install a new version over the old one.
