I've modified by wixproj file to take parameters from the commandline and pass
them into WiX:
You need to add something like this to the BeforeBuild target:
<CreateProperty Value="MyVariable=$(MyVariable);$(DefineConstants)">
<Output TaskParameter="Value" PropertyName="DefineConstants" />
</CreateProperty>
And then you can do:
msbuild myinstall.wixproj /p:MyVariable=????
