Hi All, I am a new user to Wix, i know it must be real easy but dont know how to do it.
Requirement of MSI package i have is like this. 1. Wix needs to package few files at perticulater location eg: c:\temp and make a Msi package of the files. 2. Msi package created needs to install files at E:\Files Location (ALWAYS cannot be changed.) 3. Before Installing all those files to e:\Files location it needs to backup files from e:\files and copy it to e:\fies\Backup 4. Msi is never to be Uninstalled So NO CHANGE TO REGISTRY OR ANYWHERE ELSE in the System should be made. NO entry to Add/remove programme either. SO in All...I want an MSI INstaller which can first backup the files before installing and then install the files to the location given. and nothing todo after that.
