Thanks Ilya, I gave that a try. I see entries matching my new component and 
script within the "SqlScript.idt" file, however at this point I don't know 
enough to understand what this is telling me.

Looking at the rest of the stuff resulting from the -notidy option, I notice 
the cab file, in my test case, '#RTM.cab'. The .cab contains the other test 
files I've modified and wish to patch, however it doesn't appear to contain the 
new sql script, which might be the cause of the problem.
