Are you having these problems in VS 2005 or VS2008? The code is different between the two, so it really helps us if we know which version. I assume it's 2005.

I think (and hope) this is the main problem for a bunch of ugliness with my Visual Studio project. I can do a single a successful build, but after that all builds say "Unhandled Exception: The build was aborted because of an unexpected logger failure." I need to restart Visual Studio before it starts working again (for one more build). And, just to make things even more fun, attempting to close Visual Studio after a successful build causes Visual Studio to crash instead of close...
