Not in all cases. Roaming profiles will thwart the perfect solution. In general, I have seen it discouraged to go mucking with other user's profile since the current profile cannot know the exact state all of the other profiles are in. One of a few reasons to leave user data behind.
Of course, it is icky that your shortcut will probably point at something that doesn't exist anymore. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jason Walsh Sent: Saturday, May 31, 2008 07:13 To: wix-users@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: [WiX-users] Unistall user created files Hi, On a computer I have two users, User 1 and User 2. When they run my application they can create a shortcut that will run it on startup. So a shortcut is created in the Startup group. Is it possible to delete this shortcuts when the application in unistalled?
