That's interesting - my subdirectory does end up in the driver store.
I'll send you my .wxs file (I don't think the list allows attachments)
and see if you can work out what the differences are.

        Thanks for the response. If I create two "ordinary" components
for the subdirectories then they don't get copied to the DriverStore
directory so that inf file can't find them. And if I add the difx tag to
the subdirectories, the install fails. I just can't seem to get the
subdirectories installed into the DriverStore directory.
        
        Very frustrating that this should be so hard - given that I see
many installer file sets that have subdirectories.
