I have a custom action that did this in a VERY CRUDE way (hint: use at your
own risk).
It is part of the Property Loader CA (
http://www.codeplex.com/WIXML/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=263).
Probably will have to do some modifications to get it to work for you.
