Hi,
I have a registry key which should be permanent and should be kept after
uninstall. Inside this key, there will be one or more sub-keys which should be
removed after uninstall. In order to accomplish this I have created two
components, one for the root and the other for the subkeys. Now even if I have
marked the first registry component as permanent, the installer still removes
the key after uninstall. So should I do this using CA rather than using WIX
registry tags?
