Hello,
What are the factors in how long it takes Light to run? Is it dependent
on the number of Components?
Currently Light takes about 4 minutes to run for our main installer.
This is run for each of our 8 languages, so we're looking at about 30
minutes before we even start linking our other 4 installers (each of
which have 8 languages as well).
We're currently using WiX 2.0.5325, and the Light command I use is:
light.exe -out MainInstaller.msi -loc en_US.wxl MainInstaller.wxsobj
sca.wixlib
