Okay, are the preprocessor variables listed in http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa302186.aspx
only applicable to source projects? We have some Wix projects that bundle a bunch of msms into an msi. The main project has project dependencies on all of the othe Wix projects but when I put in something like <Merge Id="Module1" Language="1033" src="$(var.Module1.TargetPath)" DiskId="1" /> (where Module1 is the name of a dependency Wix project) I get an error that $(var.Module1.TargetPath) is undefined.
