Hi Chad, Sorry for the confusion, I edited that XML snippet and replaced the real guid with MY_GUID, for easier reading. When the errors occur the Guids are all real Guids.
I am having trouble finding out what MS actually means by 'register component' in this context. If I read it out of context I would have thought of COM registration, but I guess the term 'register component' when used in MSI circles is a different process.
