From what I can tell from searching the archives there is nothing built into WiX that can backup the existing installation into a subdirectory. From what I can tell I can use a custom action for this? Is that correct? Would I bind this as a Launch Condition?
Has anyone done this before? All I am looking for is just a simple backup of the files to a subdirectory.
