The Component element has a Permanent="yes" attribute that should suit the need. It's been working like that for me at least.

During uninstall, I would like to leave behind any code-sample files that have been modified by the user. Is there a way in WiX for me to achieve this (without using Custom Actions)? Thanks. ________________________________________________________________________ ____________ Shape Yahoo! in your own image.
