Did you author an UpgradeCode and the Upgrade elements? If not, then MSI may
have just re-ran the cached product.

Subject: [WiX-users] Trouble with Stale Versions

I'm using SharpDevelop 2.1 to develop a Wix project.. I set Version =
"1.0.0.0" within the project's properties (so they're written to Proj
Setup.wixproj).. I build the MSI and move it to a different directory.

I then change the version via SharpDevelop to "1.2.0.0" and rebuild my
project.. When I run both MSI files, they both show Version 1.0.0.0 ... What
is going on? I want to test upgrading and I'm having severe difficulty.
Thanks Chris
