Hi, I have MSI file (WXS is also available) which shows some un-install
anomalies.
1. When I un-install it via
Msiexec /x {E8FF03AE-2F66-4482-95B0-248F5A4AC590}
the Uninstall key (below) is not deleted.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{
E8FF03AE-2F66-4482-95B0-248F5A4AC590}
2. Subsequent attempt to un-install fails as well:

installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the
source exists and that you can access it
3. Subsequent install attempt fails.
4. Msizap T {E8FF03AE-2F66-4482-95B0-248F5A4AC590} does not help,
and in particular does not remove the Uninstall registry subkey.
5. Removing the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{
E8FF03AE-2F66-4482-95B0-248F5A4AC590}
"fixes" the problem: can install afterwards. But un-installation ever
after requires removing this registry key.
