It's purely a matter of economics, we have a proven NSIS installer that works perfectly but we have one client (an important one, but not one that pays a lot) who requires an MSI installer. Rewriting the installer for them is not viable as it's quite complex and so we are looking for an easy way to achieve this. I know that this is a far from elegant solution, but sometimes a quick and dirty solution is the best one :)
