Btw, I should also add that we are seeing this error on a Vista 32bit OS
install on 64bit machine. Otherwise so far things have been good.

That's happening when the validator gets a validation message it doesn't think
is correct. Can you try a debug build of WiX? You'll get more detail that way
(including the message causing the problem).
