As luck would have it, when I install their ocx onto my development machine,
their custom-action stamps and serializes the ocx's (I'm guessing if somebody
releases their precious now-discontinued ocx's to BitTorrent, they want to
retrieve the serial number so they can trace it back to the purchaser).
