Is C:\BT_SDK_3_0_Page\BTSDK30_Old.msi the original compressed installer? If so, then perform an admin install of it with something like "msiexec /a C:\BT_SDK_3_0_Page\BTSDK30_Old.msi TARGETDIR=C:\patchdir\old". Then use the msi in C:\patchdir\old to build the patch. Its files will be uncompressed.
