That's likely because your package isn't marked for 64-bit.

Hi,
I have a wix installer created on a 32 bit system which copies certain files to
"Program files" and "system32" folder
However on 64bit Vista ultimate edition I face a issue that no matter what path
I specify the installer defaults to ProgramFiles(x86).Also the system files
get copied to SysWow64 folder instead of the system32 folder.
Any idea on how to overcome this issue and make the installation happen to
"Programfiles" and "System32" folder ?
