You've scheduled LaunchFile as a CustomAction but haven't provided the
definition to the linker. Where is your CustomAction with Id="LaunchFile"?

Subject: [WiX-users] Votive build error: LaunchFile
Help! I've been banging my head on this build error. I've scoured the web and
can't seem to find any documentation that addresses this problem. I'm hoping
it's just a configuration issue, but I can't seem to nail it down. Am I
missing some optional component?
Here's the error:
Unresolved reference to symbol 'CustomAction:LaunchFile' in section
'Product:11111111-86C7-4D14-AEC0-86416A69ABDE'.
Here's the offending line pulled directly from a sample *.wxs file (without it,
things build just fine):
<Publish Event='DoAction' Value='LaunchFile'>(NOT Installed) AND
(LAUNCHPRODUCT = 1)</Publish>
