I am looking for a way to name a shortcut to that of a property name.
For example if I have a secure property (in wix 3) called FOO with a
value of Bar. I want the name of the shortcut to be called Bar.
The following does not work as I would expect.
<Shortcut Id="startmenushortcut" Directory="StartMenu" Name="[FOO]"
WorkingDirectory="INSTALLDIR" Description="Description"
Target='[#FL_bar.exe]'/>
Thoughts?
