Jason, Are you persisting the installation path somewhere (e.g. the registry)?
If not, then you will run into problems because Windows Installer won't take care of that for you automatically. When installing to the default path, uninstall works correctly. When installing to any other path, uninstall succeeds (that is to say there are no errors) but it forgets to remove the files. Even if I have a bug in my xml, it seems there must be a bug in WIX as well, since it responds differently depending on what the path is. If I had to guess, I would think my bug is using one regkey for all my components. I can test a fix for that relatively simply. Any other ideas about what the problem might be? I am using 3.0.2420.
