I just thought I would let you know that I developed a tool call hallow. It generates wxs content for WiX 3.0. It's got a lot more features than tallow or mallow, such as regular expression inclusion/exclusion of directories and files.
You can checkout the source code from https://origo.ethz.ch/eiffelsoftware/es/trunk/Src/tools/hallow. You'll need GPL version of EiffelStudio to compile the project (https://www2.eiffel.com/download/.) If there is a demand I'll upload the x86/x64 binaries. If you use it, I hope it helps you out. We use it internally to automatically generate the content during a build process. If you need help using it just ask. Paul.
