Hi guys thanks so much for your replies... unfortunatley, I AM setting the 'log on as a service' right. I even tried giving myself the 'act as part of the os' right, and I still apparently don't have "sufficient privileges to start system services", and neither does local system.... I was thinking maybe my install wasn't running with enough priviliges, but I have set the [EMAIL PROTECTED]"elevated". So.. I'm not sure whats wrong..... :(
