Hi all
I encounter Error 2769 when trying to run sql scripts against a
database. In contrast to Jared Ashman's description of a similar issue
(http://www.nabble.com/ConfigureSQL-Error-Code-2769-in-3.0--tf2910528.ht
ml#a8132200) and other discussions I fournd around the same topic, I
don't get the 'LEAKED MISHANDLE' messages when applying /l* to msiexec.
Following is an excerpt from my log file:
***
Action 12:26:05: ConfigureSql. Configuring SQL Server
Action start 12:26:05: ConfigureSql.
DEBUG: Error 2769: Custom Action ConfigureSql did not close 5
MSIHANDLEs.
The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this
package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code
is 2769. The arguments are: ConfigureSql, 5,
Action ended 12:26:06: ConfigureSql. Return value 3.
Action ended 12:26:21: INSTALL. Return value 3.

Do you think this is the same issue described in the post mentioned
above? What are the odds this gets fixed in the near future? Is there
any workaround?
I'm currently using WiX 3.0.2420.0.
Thanks for any info/help/advice in advance!
Regards,
Marc
