That works, Rob. Thanks. If others get the same problem and use Visual Studio for building, you can find the setting under Advanced... for Linker: Suppressions>"Suppress MSI/MSM validation".
It bothers me, though, to suppress validation of the msi. So now I'm looking forward to Vista Service Pack 1 of ?
