Hi, This topic has been tackled before but it hasn’t
been solved. http://www.mail-archive.com/wix-users@lists.sourceforge.net/msg01566.html In short I have two features. One of them installs a
virtual directory and ASP.NET web application and the second one installs a windows
service. The user can select one or the other. He/she doesn’t have to select both of
them. If I put my WebSite tag inside of the product then I’m getting an error if user doesn’t
select the installation of the web application. As far as I know I can not put it inside of the
Feature. Do you see any workaround? I can not certainly put it inside of the Component because the website I’m
referring to exists and I don’t want to remove it when I uninstall my web application. Thanks Pawel Pabich |
