Something like this should do the trick:

Property Id=' FIREFOX_INSTALL_PATH'>

  <

RegistrySearch Name=' Install Directory' Root=' HKLM' Id= 'FirefoxInstallPath' Type='raw'  Key='SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Mozilla Firefox\2.0b2 (en-US)\Main '/>

</Property>

 

and then have the following as a child of the ProgramFilesFolder element.

<

Directory Name="Mozilla Firefox" Id="FIREFOX_INSTALL_PATH ">

</Directory>Set it up so that your component is a child of the <Directory element>.  If you create a log, you'll see that each directory actually gets a property, and its location can be manipulated via that

and then copy the extension to a subfolder of the one gotten from above. Can
