Is it possible to set the Source property of a File using something
besides a $(var…) ? Eg this works: <File Id="FileId" Name="File1" LongName="SomeFile.dll" Source="$(var.SRCLOCATION)\SomeFile.dll" Vital="yes" DiskId="1" /> The following does not work or
I cannot seem to get it to work: <File Id="FileId" Name="File1" LongName="SomeFile.dll" Source="$(env.SRCLOCATION)\SomeFile.dll" Vital="yes" DiskId="1" />
<File Id="FileId" Name="File1" LongName="SomeFile.dll" Source="$(sys.SRCLOCATION)\SomeFile.dll" Vital="yes" DiskId="1" /> <File Id="FileId" Name="File1" LongName="SomeFile.dll" Source="$(env.SRCLOCATION)\File_$(env.Version).dll" Vital="yes" DiskId="1" /> Basically I need to pass in dynamic file
name and folder names via property or setting of environment variable. Any working samples of this would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any assistance
