Rob,

I'd love to be able to contribute to WiX (in particular MSBuild support
and Votive) but the hoop-jumping required to complete the assignment
agreement totally put me off.

Why the requirement for us to print off and post a piece of paper to
Microsoft?  All other open source projects I've worked on have been
happy with a message sent to the mailing list stating that I've read the
agreement and will abide by the terms within.

The thought of my name and signature floating around in the offices of a
company I don't trust (Microsoft) in a country with lax or non-existant
data-protection laws where personal data seems to be lost/sold/stolen on
a daily basis isn't a happy one.

I wonder how many other developers that could be helping this project
get put off when they receive that email back from WiX Admin?
