Howdy, After reading ton of web pages I couldn’t reach to any reasonable summary. Which one is better to use GWT or Wt?!
May you please help me to find out the suitable choice for me? Here's the most ambiguous things that I couldn't find answers about them: 1. RAD toolkit for editing the interfaces (GUI designer preferred): While GWT has exciting GUI designer Wt hasn't so when I tried to write my first application (addressbook) it took me a full day to build the interfaces while GWT took 10min, so I wonder is there any suggestion or solution to make interfaces designing much developer friendly? 2. Report designer: While GWT can easily integrate to JasperReports engine & iReport, Wt hasn't any report designer to be integrated although I found OpenRPT which works fine with Qt but it doesn't support server mode unlike JasperReports, so do you've any suggestion or idea about this point? 3. Toolkit continuance: Google has a huge reputation, this gives GWT a big advantage over Wt specially number of the contributes and number of website built by GWT for that I'm really afraid of discontinuing Wt suddenly because lack of the contributors, so do you find this point is rightly? Thanks a lot for help and I appreciate a quick responding because I spent many days during my researches about Wt and GWT :-[ P.S. * I'm very newbie in both GWT and Wt but I've good knowledge in C++/Qt for that I put Wt on top of my choices. * I don't want to use GWT or Wt for creating page based websites (ex. cms) because PHP/Wordpress fits all my needs. -- Best Regards, Muhammad Bashir Al-Noimi ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Introducing Performance Central, a new site from SourceForge and AppDynamics.
