Hi Guys,

I get JavaScript syntax errors when I run two of my wt apps on my
server. First, I thought it was related to wtfcgi, and reported here:
http://redmine.webtoolkit.eu/boards/2/topics/1327

But then I did some more testing, and so far it ran well on all ubuntu
desktop installations, while the error manifested on all ubuntu server
installations.

runs fine on:
natty64 workstation (with dev env) [wtfcgi and wthttp]
maverick32 netbook (with dev env) (not the same binary package) [wtfcgi
and wthttp]
natty64 desktop in virtualbox (with dev env)

error on:
natty64 server [wtfcgi and wthttp]
natty64 server in virtualbox
natty64 server in virtualbox (with dev env)

The behavior is the same if I use firefox or chrome on linux or windows.

I really don't know what's different in the server distributions that
would cause wt apps to have JavaScript syntax errors.

Just to be sure, I ran ldd against the fcgi webapp on the different
machines. The hashes were different, but the versions were the same.

Any ideas?

Rgds
Richard

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
