My home network includes a Comcast router. Anytime I capture packets with Wireshark, that router quickly drops all my laptop's traffic. This doesn't happen on other networks. I've tried turning off promiscuous mode, and it still happens. Has this happened to anyone else? Any insight into why it happens and how to work around it?
