Graham, 3555 sounds different since as soon as I double click on the Wireshark desktop icon my Windows 2008 Server on VMWare crashes. Therefore I cannot even get to the interface to select an Ethernet connection. This works fine on my Windows 2003 Server R2. Thanks Scott

I then went to the Wireshark and installed the latest stable Wireshark and winpcap version 4.0 beta 5 I believe it was. I then tried to start Wireshark and it crashed everytime I went to startup Wireshark. Is there already a Bug open up on this issue or is there a workaround to this issue. Thanks Scott Have you tried Wireshark 1.2.1? What versions of Wireshark have you tried? Possibly bug 3555<https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3555> -- Regards, Graham Bloice
