Releasing the manifest files seems to be ok.

I don't know if redistributing the msvcr80.dll is really needed - 
somewhere I've read that it's only needed for "complicated scenarios" 
(whatever that may be).

I'll try this on a machine that doesn't have seen such a file before :-)
