Hi Paolo. Nice work!
In the example capture unplug_mouse2.cap it appears that the timestamp for the packet is not generated properly. All packets show up as JAN 1 1970. 1, Can you have a look at the timestamp generation of packets when capturing. 2, Can you provide some more example captures we can use to continue to refine the dissector? I would be interested in a capture that contains traffic when a memory stick is attached and a file is created/written to the memory stick so I can see all layers that need to be implemented before we can plug it into the current SCSI dissector. 3, Can you provide more details for teh wiki page, something like : EXAMPLE: This is how to capture UDB traffic on linux using most recent tcpdump: * command... * command... I.e. a step by step example on exactly how to do a capture. 4, I added some changes to the usb dissector and a new address type to start populating it, it currently is semi-broken regarding that all packets show up as host-><device_id> but that will be updated later when more captures are available. 5, Can you also provide example captures with bluetooth and the new libpcap file format? (and a patch to wireshark to read these new files) best regards ronnie s On 10/13/06, Ulf Lamping <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Paolo Abeni wrote: > > hello, > > > > this patch reflect the changes into usb setup header from current > > libpcap cvs. > > > > Paolo > > > Hi Paolo! > > Could you have a look at: http://wiki.wireshark.org/CaptureSetup/USB and > add / correct the infos? > > Regards, ULFL > _______________________________________________ > Wireshark-dev mailing list > Wireshark-dev@wireshark.org > http://www.wireshark.org/mailman/listinfo/wireshark-dev > _______________________________________________ Wireshark-dev mailing list Wireshark-dev@wireshark.org http://www.wireshark.org/mailman/listinfo/wireshark-dev
