Hello, I recently become interested in this type of project, but have never been involved in anything technical beyond a long ago degree in communication engineeing.. I intend to approach this organisation, but before doing so wish to ask if there is any one on this list who would be interested but may lack French: I am not fluent, but am good at languages and could expect to reach adequate competency fairly quickly,
so in brief: is there any one such that we could effectively combine to form a suitable asset? - I am based in UK + would be happy to make my own way there, so it may be worth while all round. thanx, Deep Grewal. --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Message: 1 > Date: Mon, 13 Dec 2004 19:34:17 -0500 > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [BAWUG] Volunteer Opportunity for WiFi > Professionals in West > Africa > To: wireless@lists.bawug.org > Message-ID: > > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" > > Geekcorps (http://www.geekcorps.org) is in search of > the few, the proud, > the WiFi Geeks would can design an antenna, cabling, > and other WiFi gear > to build a 5km link from a point to an onmi-based > access point.
