Hi Mike, I don't think the hostap driver can pick up dhcp offers. Try another driver, http://www.linux-wlan.com/linux-wlan/ Hostap is only for "master mode". You need to set your card to "managed mode". After installing the above driver use the commands, wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_autojoin ssid=sflan?? authtype=opensystem dhclient wlan0 To get an ip address.
