*That*, sir, is an excellent point.
I thought the SF meetup was this wednesday -- it's next wednesday, the 10th.
I don't want to wait on a group that has, so far, three confirmed attendees -- including me. So, let's have our own get-together, on the _3rd_, day after tomorrow.
Location will be announced later today. Suggestions for somewhere central welcome - Noe/Mission-ish? I'll suggest the new cafe on Dolores @ 25th (Clipper?) for lack of any another suggestions. They have free wireless and plenty of room. There's also the XO Cafe, Church @ 30th. Speak quickly - we need to make sure everyone gets the word.

--Joshua, Is the meeting on Nov 3rd or the 10th? Your title has the 3rd while your email states Nov. 10th.

Next week, according to meetup.com, some San Francisco wireless group is having a meeting.
I figure it's as good a place as any for us to get together and plan more frequent meetings. If they're interesting folks, we should be working together. And if their group is small, we can crush them like bugs and add their mass to our Wireless Juggernaut of Terror.
I figure we can see what they're up to, do a Q&A session (open-table) on everything from simple configuration to future plans, and then brainstorm add'l details for future meetings (handouts to create, etc).
SFLAN and BAWUG folks: Please do come and clue us in as to what is going on in your respective worlds, if you have time. I came by the Internet Archive Friday, but was told the weekly lunch meeting was cancelled for the first time in two years.
The meeting is at:
Wednesday, November 10, 7:00 PM Where:
People's Cafe 1419 Haight St San Francisco, CA 415-553-8842
