Hell, I even scare ME sometimes...grin...No, I get real irate when I see this trash being pushed out by people who hug trees who have absolutely no friggin idea what they're talking about. Its the same crowd who despise cell towers, yet have a cell phone, a blackberry and a pager on their belt and bitch about poor coverage.

That said, I'm sitting next to a 1 watt transmitter for the last 2 years in my house.
Never thought a thing about it, but now that I'm getting these headaches all the time,
I'm starting to wonder...
Sit there and think about it long enough and you WILL self diagnose yourself into something. The headache can just as easily be caused from fumes from paint, your rug, furniture plastic, or a personal allergy to any number of things in your space that DO have a scientific basis of irritation.
I've worked around multi-killowatt transmitters for over 20 years, and caught a few headaches but nothing more. Granted, one would NOT like to be bathed in multi-killowatt fields of power at 2.4 ghz, as its the resonate freq of water, (why a microwave oven works to heat food) but this is nothing more that the continuing assault on science and the substitution of "junk science" for real science. A few milliwatts of power anywhere is insignificant at all non-ionizing frequencies.
No, they "feel" it's bad, no scientific rationale mind you, but they "feel"....Pitu! You wan't the benefits of a modern society, read up on it. Don't push this touchie-feelie vomit as scientific fact.
Pitty I'm not closer to this place, I'd volunteer as an expert witness for the school.
And before anyone makes the leap to say I'm being Neanderthal about all this, it's YOUR little wifi links these people will be coming for next, so pay attention. Whenever you hear or see this junk being foisted, you need to stomp it out like a 10c cigar butt. YOU are easy targets, YOU don't have the financial resources of a multi-million dollar cell phone company to fight it. I'd hate to see a community resource like the free wi-fi projects have to dedicate all their capital to paying lawyers instead of spreading the bandwidth.
