You might find what you're looking for in the ham-radio magazine "QST"
(usually available in ham-radio stores, or directly from the Amateur
Radio Relay League (ARRL)).
There's usually an ad in there for a humongous mag-mount bracket for
antennas (four big round magnets connected by a metal "H"-shaped
bracket).
I've also seen a nice bracket for large HF antennas that consists of a
"Z"=shaped plate that mounts behind the license plate, using the four
bolts that usually secure license plates to the car; the plate bends
around one side of the license plate and provides a place to bolt a
mast. This type of bracket is nice because you don't have to drill
holes in the body of the car, but it requires a car that has a solid
method of mounting license plates. This sort of bracket should be
pretty easy to build yourself if you can't find the ad in QST.
I hope this helps!
