hey all, i'm trying to connect my 3com audrey to my wireless network. it already has a USB-to-ethernet connector (which works fine) so there's a few options:
1. get an ethernet to wireless adapter (Linksys WET11, Dlink DWL900, Orinoco EC)... anyone have good suggestions for the cheapest of this class? this seems like the most failsafe way to get the job done, although it's the least elegant. 2. try to hack some QNX drivers for a USB wireless adapter. possible, but i think the adapter would also have to pretend to be the exact 3com USB ethernet adapter that they sold with Audrey. 3. try to hack some QNX drivers for a CF wireless adapter. problematic since apparently the Audrey's CF slot is not a true CF/IDE/ATA device, but rather uses the GPIO pins... the most elegant solution but probably also requires the most hacking (since it's not just a port of existing CF wireless drivers to QNX). anyone have other ideas? any other audrey owners out there? ben . . . . . . . http://www.benchun.net/ -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
