In that case this is interesting as iwx seems to have suspend/resume routines hooked up (I'll leave that to Tom) but iwlwifi does not have that (yet). We've had (though not in a while) people reporting successful suspend/resume w/o trouble with iwlwifi if following the description from the other PR but I cannot remember anyone saying that just loading the driver does not make it come back. Hard to impossible to debug most likely without console.
