I assume you are using WPA/WPA2 currently?
may think about a new router/AP in hte future, but with Verizon buying .. Thanks for helping and I'll just have to wait for TKIP support or my move north to Comcast territory.
Do you know why wpa_supplicant didn't want to start with the two CCMP line? Nothing in the log? The fact that it didn't want to start indicates a syntax error or similar. You should be able to test this at any time without HT/VHT as well simply editing wpa_supplicant.conf and issuing a service wpa_supplicant restart wlan0 . That said I started looking into TKIP earlier today and am half way through. I am doing some other cleanups in LinuxKPI along the way so that with Adrian's upcoming net80211 crypto work we can add support in LinuxKPI as well. /bz -- Bjoern A. Zeeb r15:7
